Ancient Apulian Guttos
This wonderful Greek Apulian oil pouring vessel is from Apulia region in South Eastern Italy. In tondo we have a well preserved "head of Madusa". This Guttos would have been constructed between 350 and 325 B.C. and is in very good condition with light pigment wear around the handle and spout. Part of the base has a red wash over the reserved area. Height 4 ¾ inches (from top of spout) Diameter: 5 ½ inches
