Ancient Apulian Plate
ca. 350 B.C.
This large plate has a wonderful metallic glaze and a beveled rim and a shallow grooved foot. A very elegant and cleanly constructed plate, with some light calcification although almost unnoticeable. Nonetheless adding to its beauty and age. A tiny chip on rim. Dimater: 6 inches Height: 1 ½ inches.
